What is systemic is for far-left to use charges of racism for their own political purpose. They use it as a political tool against political rivals and our own President, when there’s no factual basis to support such claims. More recently they use the tragic deaths of Rashard Brooks, George Floyd, & Breanna Taylor to inflame racial tensions against police. Extreme inter-city violence resulting from crime, drugs, & resisting arrest is the root cause of these deaths, not racism! Data shows that whites are much more likely than blacks to die in confrontations involving police shootings . If you think otherwise, you’ve been punked!

Police Departments in the USA today are considerably better trained & more fully integrated than ever before, but violence against police has taken its toll. From Jan 1st to October 4th of this year, 115 Police officers of all races & genders have been lost, with 38 officers killed in firearm related incidents (https://nleomf.org/preliminary-fatalities). Police officers are our first responders, but city councils dominated by liberal Democrats use them as a scapegoat for their own failed policies. The Portland City Council led by far-left Mayor Ted Wheeler recently cut Portland police funding by $15 million. Emergency calls to “911” now regularly go unheeded. Portland is no longer family-friendly, and the core area of Portland is no longer safe for businesses. Tragically, far-left Democrat Party leaders stood by, prevented police from responding adequately, and then let the Portland “Rose” burn!

Blaming police is just like blaming our US Military men & women, which the far-left famously did in the ’60s & ’70s when they verbally & physically attacked our service men & women returning from the Vietnam war. In 1970, I was one of those young returning soldiers that experienced that violence first hand. The attacks by the far-left on our police officers today is no different than those attacks on our returning soldiers back then… “the more things change the more they stay the same!”
